Welcome to Unity Church!
Thank you for considering Unity Church for your meeting
or event. Please read through the rules for the use of
Unity Church Facilities and find links to applications and
additional information below.
The rules for Use of Unity Church Facilities:
| 1. |
Individuals or
groups using Unity Church facilities cannot discriminate
against anyone for reasons including but not limited to:
race, sexual orientation, age, gender, religious
beliefs, ethnicity, or physical characteristics. |
| 2. |
Individuals or
groups using Unity Church facilities cannot promote
bigotry, discrimination, abuse of individual rights or
restriction of self-determination. |
| 3. |
None of the
informational material about Unity Church or Unitarian
Universalism is to be removed before the meeting or
event. Individuals are welcome to take
informational materials from the pews for their own
education. |
| 4. |
None of the
furniture or decorations is to be moved without
permission. This includes, but is not limited to,
the flag in front of the Church and the piano. (Any
request to move specific items may be made and will be
considered by the Executive Committee. If items
may be moved, they must be returned after the use of the
facilities.) |
| 5. |
Payment of
rent must be made:
- In advance of the meeting or event.
- Within 30 days of approval by the Executive
Committee. |
| 6. |
All
decorations or other materials shall be removed after
the use and the facilities shall be left in the same
condition in which they were found. |
| 7. |
If there are
extra cleaning costs or any damage to the facilities,
Unity Church will bill the group or individual for
additional costs. |
| 8. |
Unity Church
is smoke free. |
| 9. |
The Chaffin
Room will be rented for light use only. The Parish
Hall will be available for events involving heavy use.
The Executive Committee will determine what use is
considered 'light' and 'heavy during the approval
process. |
By using Unity Church facilities, you agree to abide by
the Rules stated above. We hope that you will enjoy our historic building as much
as our members and friends.
