The Ministerial Search Committee proudly presents

Rev. Tess Baumberger

Unity Church of North Easton Parish Minister

starting August 1, 2008

Unity Church Calls the Reverend Dr. Therese

(Tess) Baumberger

We are delighted and honored to announce that the Rev. Dr. Therese (Tess) Baumberger has been called to be the next permanent minister at Unity Church. Eighty four members attended  the May 4, 2008 Special Congregational Meeting held at the conclusion of an eight-day candidating period that included two full Sunday worship services. After the reading of the Warrant Article by Unity Church President, Cathy Adler, the presentation of the candidate, a brief discussion and Q&A session, the vote was taken. Ballots were tallied by Susanne Rogers and Jorge Armesto and it was unanimous. Ministerial Search Committee Chair, Jennie DunKley, phoned Tess and the entire gathering, united into one voice, literally called her to our ministry. The decision was joyously toasted with sparkling apple cider. Tess’s ministry at Unity Church will begin in August 2008.
