Unity Church
is looking for an Acting 1/4 Time Coordinator of Religious
Education
Our CRE will
administer a religious education program that nurtures UU
identity in children and young adults at our small but
extremely active UU church. The CRE will work closely with
our minister and a very engaged Religious Education
Committee to maintain curricula, prepare classroom
materials, and staff the Sunday School program.
Level 2 UUA Credentialed Religious Ed applicants are preferred, and
a knowledge/understanding of children’s learning styles and
needs within a religious community is required.
Worship Services are held at 10:30
a.m., and last for approximately one hour. They typically include
music, singing, prayer, silence, and a sermon. During the Summer, services are less formal,
and our
Choir, Sunday School, and child-care providers are on vacation.

Small Group Ministry:
Covenant Groups
Covenant groups meet either once or twice each month for
approximately 1.5 hours. Each group consists of 6 to 12 people and is led
by a facilitator. Participants develop close relationships with other
members and friends of Unity Church, Give and receive a Caring Ministry,
explore spiritual issues together, and engage in service to the wider
community.
Our Covenant Groups always have an empty chair at their
gatherings. That Chair could be yours!
